Jarreth J Merz

Jarreth Merz is famous Swiss stage and film actor cum director. He is a person of Swiss nationality and a citizen of a country in West Africa named Ghana. For a span of seven years, they lived in Ghana, the home of his mother. They stayed in Germany for a very short time during 1980-81, in a place called Hamburg. Later in 1981, they went back to Switzerland. He completed his graduation in the year 1990 after which he started studying acting course in Zurich at the actor school named European Film Actor School.

He shifted to the New York City in the year 1992 and continued his studies in the studio named Herbert Berghof Studio at the famous New York University. He started his acting career in Germany in the year 1996, when he went to Germany, and he found a house for himself in Berlin. He acted in the movie named "The Forgery Alongside" in the year 1998 along with Herbert Feuerstein, a German journalist, entertainer, and comedian, and Martin Umbach, a German voice actor, author, and actor.

In the year 2001, Merz embodied in the film named "Taking Sides- The Case Furtwangler" under the direction of Istvan Szabo. He started living in the United States again since the year 2003 in the city of Los Angeles. He performed a guest role in the American television series named "Emergency Room-The emergency room". This series made him very famous. In the year 2005, he tried to be the producer of a film. He was the founder of "The Cell Film Production", which could produce only a single short film of fifteen minutes named Night Shift.

Along with his brother, he founded in the year 2006, Kevin Urban Republic Films and produced a documentary named "The Soul of Ashanti", which was sixty minutes long. The action of the movie took place in Ghana. This was Merz's first film as a director of films. Merz speaks three languages very fluently namely English, German, and Swiss German. He was also in Spanish, French, Aramaic, and Italian rotated. In the year 2015, he worked on the TV series named "Homeland" in the 56th episode.
