Cyrus Nowrasteh

Cyrus Nowrasteh is an award-winning director and screenwriter. He is of Iranian descent but was born in Boulder, Colorado. He later moved to Madison, Wisconsin. He is known for his various works as a director but is majorly known because of the controversial drama document The Path to 9/11. He completed his graduation from Madison West High School in 1974. He was high school tennis champion and had a keen eye towards sports and athletics. He went to the New Mexico State University on an athletic scholarship and was later transferred to the University of Southern California, where he attended School of Cinematic Arts. He also went on to write the pilot of USA Network shows La Femme Nikita in 1996. He was the writer of The Island and The Advocate's Devil. In 1999, he wrote the episodes Gaslight and The Naked Truth from the TV series Pacific Blue. He was a very subtle writer and liked to keep things simple. He also worked on some independent films like the interview which has an American/Brazilian production. His work was loved by all and he also received an award of Pen USA West Literary Award for the Best Teleplay. He is the only one writer to have won it twice in two consecutive years. She has been a great support to him throughout his career and supported him in a possible manner. They have two sons, Alex, and Mark. Alex is a policy analyst, and Mark has studied UCLA playwriting program. They both have settled in with their life. Cyrus is one of the best work is Andrew Jackson entitled The Battle of New Orleans. He has dedicated his life towards the work and always believes in giving justice to whatever work handed to him. He is a great personality and has always worked with full of passion.
