Sofia Hayat

 Sofia Hayat is a famous celebrity in both Hollywood and Bollywood. She has endeavored into acting, singing and modeling. She has worked in both Indian and British television. Having a British nationality she has got some South Asian descent. With her birthdate in conflicts too, sources have reported it might be either 1974 or 1984. 

Sofia had pursued her graduation in Music and Performing Arts, B.A. Hons and had also studied acting for seven years to take it up as a profession. She had also studied Meisner technique, of which she is an ardent follower. 

Sofia is well-versed in piano. Besides, she handles the recorder and is an avid sword fighter. In fact, she has imbibed Krav Maga, a form of martial art. 

Sofia had featured in several commercials in television including McDonalds etc. Moreover, she was the first ever model to be the brand ambassador of international shampoo brand Timotei.

BBC was the first channel to tap the potentials of Sofia as a professional actress. At the age of 16, she acted in Absolute Power, which went on to become a hit. Fur TV was a show which won Bafta awards and Sofia worked in it as a Latino. The show gained international recognition.

She had done many shows including Supersede Seaso2. Sofia judged and hosted one of India’s favourite show, 'Welcome-bazii Mehmaan nawazii ki' in 2013. And yes how can we forget Big Boss 7? 

Sofia was among the top 9 finalists of Big Boss herself. She was also seen in Diary of a Butterfly; she enacted the role of Carol in the year of 2012. For her debut Bollywood movie, Sofia had also learned Hindi, as she hadn't ever spoken it. She took classes to learn and also watched films to gain perfection in the language. 

Nowadays Sofia is acting in a lead role in the highly-talked movie, "Six-X" which is going to be released on March 11, 2016. 

Sofia Hayat, also a singer by profession, has released the album Dishonoured, in the year 2011. Sofia has also sung at Royal Albert Hall. She was also seen singing Jazz with legend Louiz Banks. Louiz Banks has worked widely with singer Herbie Hancock. 

Sofia took the role of a judge as well as the host in UTV Bindaas’ Superdude, a reality show. This show gained a lot of audiences. 

Sofia is also honoured with numerous awards for mesmerizing the audience with her good voice. Not only this, she has won awards for acting. Currently, she is busy shuttling between India and United Kingdom.
