She was born in Sincelejo, Colombia, on 25th December 1993, to Jorge Marel & Josefina Antonia, & has two other siblings.

Her sun sign is Capricorn, & the model is just twenty-three years old. When she was seven months old, her family shifted to Barranquilla. Her early schooling was in the German School of Barranquilla. Her family has a long list of beauty pageants, since her cousin Paulina Vega was ‘Miss Colombia 2013’ & ‘Miss Universe 2014.’ Her achievements include ‘Senorita Sucre’ (Miss Sucre Colombia 2014). Soon after this feat, she was crowned ‘Miss Colombia 2014.’ When she won the title, her win marked her department’s very first win at the ‘Miss Colombia pageant.’ She succeeded in winning the eightieth edition of the title, in November 2014, in Cartagena de Indias.

Gutierrez went on to describe the mistake as ‘humiliating,’ going on to say that the producers handled their mishap poorly. She quoted that it was a ‘great injustice’ on their part, & she personally felt horrible.

Her film career began in 2017, when she debuted in blockbuster ‘XXX: Return of Xandar Cage,’ where she played the role of ‘Lola,’ who was an acquaintance of the protagonist ‘Xandar.’ She also was a part of the music video of artist Carlos Vives in his song ‘Al Filo De Tu Amo,’ which streamed in on YouTube & gained thousands of likes. Since her loss in 2015, Gutierrez hasn’t let the loss bring down her morale, & chases opportunities that were not available at the time she tried her shot at becoming ‘Miss Universe.’ The model is on her way to being a major presence in other future-action adventures.
