Zareen Khan and Gautam Rode have a crucial role in the film and they have done justice to their roles. Abhinav has a limited screen presence, yet he has done his best. Sreesanth comes as an advocate and does his job as narrated by the director. Other supporting stars have done what is expected from them.
The film has no link to “Aksar” that released in 2006. The director Anantha Narayan Mahadevan has driven the script well, but he slipped in the second half with more twists and turns. Ananth could have concentrated more on the second half. As it has more twists than expected, it irritates the viewers. Similarly, the song in the second half seems to be unnecessary.
What’s Not There?
Aksar 2 is neither a boring movie nor an exciting one. But, it has all the elements to entertain the audiences. If some unnecessary scenes in the second half were cut, the film would have a become a classic hit!
