Michael John ‘Mike’ Myers, also called Mike Myers is a man of multiple talents. He holds a dual citizenship of British and America. He was born in Scarborough, Ontario in a regular household confined to his parents and two elder brothers. His father, Eric Myers was an insurance agent and his mother served the Royal Air Force. He completed his education at Sir John A. MacDonald Collegiate Institute and Stephen Leacock Collegiate Institute. His acting career began at the mere age of two when he started acting for commercials, but the actual start began from Second City Theatre. He appeared on King of Kensington. He became part of ‘The Comedy Store Players’ in the United Kingdom after graduating in 1982.

He teamed up with Neil Mullarkey to star in Wide Awake Club, which was a children’s TV program. He performed a role in Shrek and Austin Power series. He donned the director’s hat for Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon. ‘Wayne’s world’ and ‘So I Married An Axe Murderer’ gained him success. His first marriage to Ruzan ended up in divorce. Patricia Ann Carroll, or better known as, Pat Carroll was born on 5 May 1927, in Shreveport, Louisiana, U. S. to Kathryn Angela and Maurice Clifton Carroll. She is an actress, voice actress and a comedienne by profession. She attended Immaculate Heart High School and graduated from the Catholic University of American. Carroll was one of the names to be included in the list of civilian actress technician in the United States Army. She was a regular face in the sitcom ‘Make Room for Daddy’ from 1961 to 1964. For her performance in a sketch comedy television program titled Caesar’s Hour, she received an Emmy Award. She featured in many shows like The Danny Kaye Show, The Red Buttons Show, The Carol Burnett show and The Red Skeleton Show and was also a guest star in The DuPont Show with June Allyson. Carroll did a show on Gertrude Stein in 1970 which was very successful, and its recorded version which came out in 1980 won a Grammy Award. In the year 1976, she starred as Lily in sitcom Laverne & Shirley and next year she played the role of Pearl Markowitz in a CBS sitcom titled Busting Loose. Later in the year 1980, she made frequent appearances in the television industry and contributed her voice in Pound Puppies and two seasons of the cartoon Garfield. Her most famous voice-over was in Disney’s The Little Mermaid where she voiced the character of Ursula, and she also sang a song for the movie. Again for the second part of the film, Carroll was selected. We could even see her in many game shows like You Don’t Say, I’ve Got a Secret, Celebrity Sweepstakes, and Password. Her career in theater was also very successful. She featured in plays like The Merry Wives of Windsor and Our Town. For her excellent performances be it in television industry or at the theater or as a voice-actor, she got praises from a drama critic of The New York Times. Carroll tied the knot with her husband Lee Karsian and had three children with him. She earned an honorary doctorate in the year 1991 from Siena College in Albany, New York.
