Jamie Kennedy

Born on 25 May, 1970, James Harvey Kennedy popularly known as Jamie Kennedy is an American actor, producer, screenwriter, and stand-up comedian. Raised by a Roman Catholic, Jamie was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He did his schooling from Monsignor Bonner High School, in 1988. After that, Kennedy worked as an extra in Hollywood. He is suffering from congenital heart block from the past 35 years.

During his struggling days, he worked as a host at Red Lobster. After working as a telemarketer, Jamie realized that he has selling capabilities. He used this talent for himself, and became his agent. He developed a fake character, an agent “Marty Power” and fetched auditions for himself.

His fame increased due to his role Randy Meeks in Scream File series, in the 1990s. His character Tim Avery in Son of the Mask garnered him the Golden Raspberry Award nomination for Worst Actor. He co-owned a production company with Josh Etting, called Wannabe Producers. Living with Fran, Blowin’ Up, The Jamie Kennedy Experiment, and The Starlet are some of his shows as a producer.

He has also written shows like Malibu’s Most Wanted and Blowin’ Up. He gave his vocals for ESPN NFL 2K5, a video game. He has also written Wannabe: A Hollywood Experiment, an autobiography which depicts his struggles to become an actor. His show The Jamie Kennedy Experiment, became the highest ranking new show of WB Network in 2002. The show got off the air in 2004 due to falling TRPs. He released a documentary Heckler, in 2008. It displays the conditions of stand-up comedians and how they face the aggressive audience. Jamie played an insecure boy genius in Nicktoon Fanboy and Chum Chum, who disgusts their friendship but deep inside he wants them to be his friend. The actor won Blockbuster Entertainment Award for Favorite Supporting Actor – Horror for Scream 2, in 1998. In 2003, he got a nomination for Teen Choice Award for Malibu’s Most Wanted. In 2005, Jamie won Stinkers Bad Movie Awards for both Worst Actor and Worst Screen Couple for his work in Son of the Mask. In 2006, he found himself nominated for the same award and in the same category as previous, but couldn’t win.
