Chris Farley

Late Chris Farley is an American actor and comedian. He emerged into this world on 15th February 1964, in Madison, Wisconsin. He was born to Thomas John Tom Farley and Mary Anne. His dad owned an oil company while his mother was a homemaker. He had four siblings. Farley attended various Catholic schools. He graduated from the Marquette University in 1986 for the course of communication and theater.

He worked few years with his father in their oil company. He joined the Ark Improv Theatre in Madison, which was the stepping stone for his career. He also performed in Improv Olympic Theatre in Chicago. They all showcased their talent very well such that this gang came to be called as the Bad Boys of SNL. Farley used to perform the impersonations of Tom Arnold, Jerry Garcia, Andrew Giuliani, Meat Loaf, Dom DeLuise, Roger Ebert, Carnie Wilson, Mindy Cohn, Mama Cass, Hank Williams Jr., etc. He was an integrated part of the Saturday Night Live team and used to prank people in the night. He acted in films like Wayne’s World series, Coneheads, and Airheads.

He was put into rehab process thereby stopping all of his works. In 1997, he made a guest appearance on SNL. On December 18, 1997, Farley passed away in his house. After the autopsy, it was declared that he died because of the overdose of cocaine and morphine.

There was a list of works lined up for Farley but he was never going to work on them. Some of his unfinished projects are Shrek, Dinosaur, The Cable Guy, Ghostbusters, A Confederacy of Dunces, The Incomparable Atuk. Farley’s funeral was held in his hometown of Madison, Wisconsin. In 2015, a documentary on the life of Farley titled I AM Chris Farley was released.

His last two films- Dirty Work and Almost Heroes got released after his death because the schedules of the movies got postponed due to the condition of Farley.
