Joan Alexandra Molinsky was born on 8th June 1933 in Brooklyn, U.S. She is an actor, comedian, director and is also a TV host. She had her earlier education from Crown Heights and Prospect Heights where she received her formal education and later shifted to Larchmont. In 1954, she had her graduation from Barnard College, before becoming famous Joan did various other jobs. Joan appeared in a 1950 short play where she portrayed as a lesbian who falls in love with a woman, the play was liked by the audience and was appreciated by them; the drama went on for six straight weeks and Rivers became popular with her character and had a good comic- timing.
Joan’s comedy was sharpened even more during the 1970s where she appeared on various television comedy shows and various other shows like The Carol Burnett Show, The Adventures of Letterman, etc. Joan released what became a semi-legend most? It was the bestselling comedy album in the top 30 of the UK charts and was a huge hit. Joan started to perform on stage and had her show at Carnegie Hall and then soon presented in a UK show. Joan has published a lot of best-selling humor’s books which showcased who talented she was. Joan also appeared in the TV series Nip/Tuck in its 2nd, 3rd and 6th seasons and she also appeared in the TV show where she showcased her independent jewelry line. In 2008, Joan was a part of the Big Brother House where she appeared for a one-day spinoff which accelerated their TRP rating. She has also appeared in reality shows with her daughter and had competed with other participants. Joan’s life is not less than a roller coaster ride; she married James Sanger, but it lasted just for six months. In 1965, Joan married Edgar Rosenberg, in the course of 22 years of their marriage they had a child, but Edgar committed suicide when he learned that Joan was going to get separated. Joan said,” It’s a disaster” when asked about their marriage, where she was involved with other men while she was married to Edgar.
Joan Rivers died on 28th August 2014 where she suffered serious breathing problems and later kept on life support; she suffered brain damage due to lack of oxygen. Rivers death followed a lot of controversies; the news spread that she was not given the proper care and that the surgeries were carried out without informing her.
