He completed his graduation from the USC School of Television and Cinema. Later, in 2004, he got the offer to join the branch of cinematographers for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. His father is Jordan Cronenweth, who is one of the best photographers in motion pictures in the Hollywood industry.
Coming to his career, during his school, he worked as a second camera assistant and camera loader on the sets of Blade Runner, along with his father.
