He became popular after playing in Sun TV’s comedy show Meendum Meendum Sirippu, alongside Venniradai Murthy, “Ganeshkar,” and “Srilekha.” After this show, he got good offers from the Tamil movie industry. In 2003, Suruli Manohar shared the screen with Arun Vijay, “Shaam,” Kutti Radhika and Seema Biswas in Iyarkai, directed by SP Janananthan. In 2020, one of his long-delayed films, Onbathu Kuzhi Sampath, featuring Balaji Maharaja and Nikhila Vimal, got released. The film also had Kadhal Dhandapani, who died in 2014.
