Uddumalai Ravi is a stand up comedian who has appeared in several television programs and advertisements. He is a Tamil Television actor and comedian best known for his role in the much talked about serial Devimangal which is being aired by Sun TV since 2013. The serial was premiered on March 23, 2013. The show has been so well received by the audience that it has been remade in Malayalam and Telugu languages. He is a graduate from Loyola College Chennai. As a young boy he dreamed of being an actor. Because of his witty and quick humor, he shot fame in the entertainment world and became a stand up comedian.
His stand up comedies and mimic performance have gained a large fan following and the attention of the TV watchers. Apart from acting as a comedian, he has been involved in many advertising campaigns like ‘Bingo’ chips for Snack Foods India, ITC and others like advertisement campaign for Chennai Super Kings. He enjoys acting very much and wants to explore more of it by consistently getting more work. Basically, he is from Udumalpet and belongs to a very modest background. He currently lives with his family in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
