Giri Dwarakish is an Indian film Producer and actor who predominantly works in the Tamil and Kannada film and television industry. Giri Dwarakish hails from a film family in Bangalore. He is the son of the popular actor and producer in the Kannada film industry Dwarakish. Giri Dwarakish has four brothers, Yogish, Producer, Santhosh, Girish, and Abhilash. At the age of eight, Giri Dwarakish’s family shifted to Chennai. He completed his schooling at Adarsh Senior Secondary School in Chennai. Further, he attended the University of Madras for his graduation. He is married to Anitha Anu from Chennai. Coming from a film background, Giri Dwarakish started his career as a child actor in f his father’s productions. He has appeared in the 1980 Kannada film Manku Thimma starring Dwarakish and Manjula.

His other projects as a child actor are Adrushtavantha in 1982 and Police Papanna in 1984. Giri Dwarakish made his debut as a lead with the Kannada movie Hrudaya Kallaru, produced and directed by Dwarakish in 1996. In 2002, Giri Dwarakish performed as a lead with the romantic drama Majnu, directed by Dwarakish.
