, Sathya Priya and others. The story revolves around Abhinaya, the protagonist, a hard-working ambitious woman. Abhinaya has a stepbrother as a business rival. Abhinaya, her mother and two sisters live with her maternal uncle.
They live a healthy life though she has a dark past. Abhinaya's father abandoned them to marry Kanchana, the mother of Aditya(Abhinaya’s stepbrother). Initially, Abhinaya marries Bhaskar, but he turns out to be an abusive man. Abhinaya gets divorced from her husband and starts a new life. Abhinaya starts a new company and Aditya becomes her sworn business rival. Somehow Abhinaya escapes from her brother’s torture. In the last scenes, Abhinaya is seen helping in an orphanage and living a peaceful life. Kolangal was the first Tamil show to cross 1000 episodes. It has 1533 episodes in total.
