Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand is a Hindi series that was televised under STAR Plus channel. The serial was produced and directed by the Indian actress, Aruna Irani, which was first presented under STAR Plus and the re-runs can be seen in STAR Utsav. The show started on October 2001 and ended in April 2005 and was created by AK Films and written by Anand Vardhan and IIa Dutta Bedi.
Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand is all about Pritam Singh, which was played by Arun Bali, and his family. They are NRIs or a Non-Resident Indians that stayed in London, UK. Pritam lives in the United Kingdom for 50 years and but his heart and mind longs for the views and sounds India, where his heart and soul resides there. The series is mainly centered to Parminder Kaur or lovingly called as Pammi, which was played by Sangeeta Ghosh; she is the granddaughter of Pritam, who seized the conventional values of Indians. Then later, she met Dev Mallik, which was played by Varun Badola, on her cousin’s wedding in Chandigarth. They fell in love with each other, however, Pammi is yet to be married with Dr. Rohan Malhorta , which was played by Siddharth Dhawan.
The show is principally a love story and the protagonist of the Indian traditions while in a foreign country casted by Amar Upadhyay as Rohit Sharma, Tasneem as Sukhwant, Yatin Karyekar as Rajinder, Aruna Irani as Teji, Swapnil Joshi as Sam, Shweta Keswani as Anu, Romanchak as Akash Mehra, Hansika Motwani as Tina, Tasneem Sheikh as Priya, Neha Mehta as Heer, Karishma Tanna as older Tina, Ankur Nayyar as Rajveer and Rohit Roy as Yash.
