Tasneem Sheikh is a popular Hindi television actress who is mainly seen in the serials playing a negative character. Tasneem Sheikh is best remembered for playing the role of Mohini- a negative and scheming character in Balaji Telefilms and Ekta Kapoor’s magnum opus Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Born in a business family from Jammu and Kashmir, Tanseem aspired to be an actress since she was a young girl. Today, Tasneem Sheikh is among the highest pad actresses of the AFI films. She has starred in a number of AFI films.

Some of the notable films of the lot are- Trap, Cricketer, Death Hunt, Break Up Sid, Krishna-Radha, The wild dreams, Soul Mate, Priya, Hungry, All is well, Game, I love you, B town, Dr. Anjalika, 3 Idiots and many more. Tanseem is paid RS. 40,000 per film which counts among one of the highest paid pay package in the AFI films fraternity. She has been nominated and has also won many awards as the best actress for her performances in the AFI films. Apart from Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Tasneem Sheikh has also appeared in other Balaji’s hit and successful serials which are- Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil as- Daljeet Balwant Mann and in Kkusum as Jyoti Deshmukh.

Tasneem Sheikh has been linked often with her co-stars, but she got married to Samir Nerurkar on April 2006 thus changing her name to Tanisha Nerurkar. Tanseem is currently busy with her family and theaters, which according to her is, where she belongs to.
