Chetanya Adib was born on 10 November 1971 in Jaipur, Rajasthan. His grandfather was the famous Prem Ji Adib who was a prominent actor in the fifties in the 20th century. Chetanya made the first steps in acting on the theater stage in his birth city Jaipur. He gained a lot of success and experience in his theatrical plays even though he didn't have any previous acting education. Chetanya moved to Mumbai in 1996 to pursue his career in the film and entertainment business. His first TV appearance was in the serial "Yudh" in a smaller role, nevertheless appeared in 50 episodes. His next TV serial was "Kunti" in which he played the main negative role. In the following years he performed in different roles in other TV serials and Bollywood films, such as Mumkin, Lekin, Mohra, Swaraj, Aahat, CID, Suraag. However, the TV audience remembers him mostly by his role of Kunjan in the TV series Saat Phere - Saloni Ka Safar broadcast on Zee TV, and by the role of the father of the young Anandi in the very popular series Balika Vadhu on Colors TV. Apart from the successful TV series, Chetanya is also a model and a voice-over and dubbing artist. He performed voice-dubbing roles to a lot of Hollywood and foreign movies, like "Batman", "Spiderman", "Superman" and his well-known dubbing of Paul Walker in the series of films "Fast & Furious". He performed Hindi-dubs over the voices of Sean Connery, Val Kilmer, Sylvester Stallone, Keanu Reeves and many other famous actors. Chetanya's voice can be heard on a lot of programs and shows on Discovery channel as well.
