Kishwar Merchant is a model turned actress from India. She was born on February 18, 1981 in Mumbai, India. She got her fame in the most popular Hindi series, Hip Hip Hurray where she played as Nonie on Zee TV channel in 1998. She also essayed the role of Vanshita Nanda in the romantic-drama series, Kkavyanjali in 2005. Her performance in the medical drama series, Dhadkan positively made her a face to consider.

She took a break in year 2009 after breaking up with her ex-boyfriend, and came back on SAB TV’s Main Kab Saas Banoongi in 2008. She played the character of Bihari Gawti in this comedy series. At the same time, Kishwar is also doing the role of Priya Sehgal in Real TV’s Namank Haraam.

Kishwar was notably remembered for doing the supporting and negative roles. The first negative role she did was from the popular show, Kutumb on Sony TV. She also played a negative role as Mandira in DD National’s and as Raima in Ek Haseena Thi on Star Plus. Her performance here received positive responses and it was appreciated by the viewers.

In 2012, Kishwar along with made their entries in an episodic of Zee TV’s Fear Files.

She also acted in plays like the “See No Evil, Speak No Evil, Hear No Evil and Do No Evil” for the people who resides in Hyderabad. She travelled in different countries to showcase the play. Joining her are the popular, , Ashish Roy and . She was also bagged in to the role of Noyonika, mother of in MTV serial, Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan.

Recently, she played the role of the courtesan who is deeply in love with Birbal in the historical comedy, Har Mushkil KaHal – Akbar Birbal which was aired in Big Magic channel.
