Rajesh Kumar is a renowned Indian actor, who rose to fame after essaying the role of Subodh Thakkar in the popular primetime series, Baa Bahoo Aur Baby on STAR Plus. He was born on January 20, 1975 in Patna, Bihar, India and graduated at the Hindu College, University of Delhi. He came to Mumbai in year 1999 since her sister is expecting a baby. He was busy during the day and got bored in the evenings so he asked his friend if he can join their theatre group. He started liking theatre so he decided to stay in Mumbai and took a Mass Communication course at St. Xavier’s. Rajesh Jais is originally a theatre actor with a profound presence in the Hindi TV & Cinema. He has been working in the entertainment industry for more than 20 years. His initial most noted appearances were in the series ‘Shanti’, where he acted along with other budding actors & actresses such as Yatin Karyekar & Mandira Bedi. During his student life, he was actively involved in extracurricular activities such as skits and plays. He always dreamt of making a career in the entertainment industry due to his natural bent towards the arts, acting & music. He later made this aspiration a reality, as he is an alumnus of the National School of Drama (1988-91), Ministry of Culture, Government of India. He has been an avid lover of Indian classical music and placed in the category of ‘Bhushan’ due to his well-perceived singing abilities. Rajesh Puri is a versatile Indian television actor and a product of National School of Drama (NSD) in Delhi through Nadira Zaheer Babbar. For more than 30 years of being an actor, he already achieved 130 films and 70 tele-serials. Rajesh also appeared in many commercials including Cherry Blossom.He started his acting career as Kamdar, the Assistant Editor in the 1983 Hindi film, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro by Kundan Shah. In 2013, the brilliant actor received the Lifetime Achievement Award for his great contributions in theatre, television and films which was given by the Education Today Foundation.
