Sangita Ghosh rose to fame with her role in the popular television series Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand which was a story about an NRI named who settle in UK. Sangita played the granddaughter who portrayed Indian values. The role of Pammi was well loved and appreciated and that is what brought her more offers for different projects. She started off as a model and went on to make her mark in the television and movie industry.

Her acting career started at the age of 10 when she worked in the serial which was aired on 1986. Her modeling career extended to brands like Nirma and Donear Suitings. As soon as she finished her college studies in 1996, she started taking up prominent roles in serials like Kurukshetra, Adhikaar, Daraar and others.

She was lately engaged in a project by the name of Jee Le Zara which aired on Sony TV and was a series that portrayed the life of Saanchi who struggles with her father’s strawberry farm.

She also took part in the celebrity dancing competition Nach Baliye, once as a performer and once as a host. Another reality show that she took part in was Zara Nachke Dikha. She later also went to win a lot of Star Parivaar and Indian Television academy awards.

The Madhya Pradesh girl later married polo player in Jaipur. The wedding was a private ceremony in the same city.
