Hindi Web Series Tadap

Tadap is an Indian web series that premiered in 2019 on the Ullu app. It is a Hindi language adult series that focuses on the journey of a girl named Madhavi as she rebels against her father’s orthodox beliefs. Madhavi is an obedient, innocent and smart girl, who always followed Gajendra, her father’s ethical way of living. Madhavi lived a simple life in West Bengal and focused on her studies; however, she was keen to try out and explore her surroundings. Gajendra, has orthodox beliefs for a growing girl. He believes that a girl shouldn’t indulge in unnecessary activities. Thus, he restricted his daughter from going out late at night, spending time at her friend’s home and being in touch with any guy. Madhavi disliked her father’s restrictions and wished to have her privacy and freedom like her other friends. She tries to convince her father that staying at her friend’s house doesn’t cause harm to her dignity; however, her father doesn’t understand.

Madhavi likes to socialize, spend time with her friends, and watch movies. Perhaps, due to her father’s rules and regulations, she is often confined in her home. Madhavi lives with her parents and has a younger brother. Madhavi spends her time at her home doing chores to help her mother in work. Often, after watching movies, Madhavi used to dream of having intimacy with a man; however, with zero male interaction her thoughts vanished until one day—when Madhavi meets a guy in her neighborhood. It is a new experience for Madhavi from her routine mundane life. As the story progresses, Madhavi falls in love with Mohit, who works in an electrical store near her house. As their love blossoms, Madhavi gets conscious to reveal her relationship to her parents.

The serial focuses on the growing distance between Madhavi and her father because of her relationship. Later, Gajendra arranges Madhavi's marriage to a guy named Azeem. The serial later unfolds the relationship between Azeem and Madhavi. Tadap is an adult drama series that ventures out in the world of love, lust and relationship. The series shows different relationship aspects through four perspectives, Madhavi, Mohit, Azeem, Gajendra.
