Aruna Irani is an Indian actress who has acted in over 300 films, mostly doing supporting roles. She was born to a Parsi family on May 3, 1952, in Mumbai. Aruna has mixed origin of Irani Zoroastrian and Hindu background. She was the sister of famous filmmaker, Indra Kumar and actor, Adi Irani. She is married to film director, Kuku Kohli. Aruna Irani was first introduced in the film, Gunga Jumna in 1961. She was just 9 years old at the time when she played the role of Azra.

After that, she did small roles in several films such as Jahanara in 1964, Farz in 1967 and Upkar in the same year and Aaya Sawan Jhoomke in 1969. In 1968, she acted in Aulad along with the comedian, Mehmood Ali. Later, she also acted in Humjoli in 1970 and Naya Zamana in 1971. She was also starred in 1971 film, Caravan where she played as a gypsy woman. Aruna also acted in Bombay To Goa in 1972 and Garam Masala. She also appeared in Do Phool in 1973. She was also featured in the 1973 Bollywood film, Bobby and in 1976 she was in the Hindi movie, Fakira and Sargam in 1979. She did two movies in 1981 and this includes Love Story and Rocky. Aruna Irani got her first Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress twice in the movie, Pet Pyaar Aur Paap in 1984. In 1992, she received her second Fimfare Award for Best Supporting Actress when she played a motherly role in the Hindi film, Beta. She was also the one who played the same role in the Kannada remake of the same film, Beta. She also did Marathi films like Changu Mangu, Aandhla Marto Dola, Ek Gadi Baki Anadi, Lapwa Chapvi and Bol Baby Bol. Later on, Irani also performed in television where she played different character roles in several serials.

She also directed and produced tele-serials such as Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand, Mehndi Tere Naam Ki, Hindi TV series, Rabba Ishq Na Hove and Vaidehi – Ek Aur Agni Pareeksha and may more. She also got the Lifetime Achievement award in the Filmfare awards in Mumbai on February 19, 2012. Aruna did a lot of films and TV shows. Her most recent TV show is the Indian soap, Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki on colors TV. Aside from being an actress, producer and a director, Aruna is also a good dancer. Ananya Khare was born on March 16, 1968 in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, India. She is an actress from Bollywood who performed on numerous popular movies on a supporting role, such as the Indian romantic drama film, Devdas on 2002 as Kumud Mukherjee and the 2001 Hindi film, 'Chandni Bar', where she got the Indian National Award for Best Supporting Actress.
