Sai Ballal is a renowned face in the Indian television industry that has appeared in a number of TV serials. He has been known to portray negative characters and has performed exceptionally in all his ventures. One of his first appearances on TV was in the Sahara One show

where he essayed the role of Pandit Vidyasagar. He was the adoptive father of central character Vaishnavi who dislikes his daughter and blames her for his wife’s death.
Sai Ballal’s next venture was long running Colors show Phulwa where he played the role of antagonist Bade Thakur. His character was that of a local landlord and corrupt politician who misuses his power to fulfil his wishes and is a constant threat to the lead female protagonist Phulwa. The show’s plot was inspired by the real life tale of female dacoit Phoolan Devi.
Sai was also part of another successful Colors TV serial Saraswatichandra which also aired on DD National. He was seen in the character of Buddhi Dhan Dharmadhikari in this blockbuster show.
Currently, Sai Ballal is continuing his association with the TV channel Colors by being part of their new prime time show Udaan which has already gained popularity among the audiences. He plays the role of the main antagonist Kamalnarayan Rajavanshi or Bhaiyyaji in this TV soap. The show is about the unusual association between a corrupt and powerful man and a little girl in his village who changes his attitude. Sai is already receiving high accolades for the show and will surely get more opportunities to showcase his talent in the future.
