Achint Kaur

Achint Kaur is an Indian serial and theatre actress who was born and brought up in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. She was a paratrooper and very adventurous in her life. She was known best in the industry for her role as an antagonist in the soap operas, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi as Mandira and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii as Pallavi.

Being an antagonist was not her debut role, she began acting with the Hindi TV drama series, Banegi Apni Baat on Zee TV in 1994 followed by the Indian soap, Swabhimaan in 1995. Aside from doing some popular drama series, she also played productive roles in the Bollywood movies like Om Jai Jagadish, Corporate and Julie. And because of her successful career, she won a lot of awards in the industry. She got the ITA Award for Best Actress in Supporting Role for her appearance as Vedika in the Hindi soap, Virrudh. Achint also acts in theatres. Her most recent performance was from “Two to Tango, Three to Jive”.

She was very successful in her career as an actress and she went onto act in a lot of TV serials such as Saaya, Kaala Sona, Maan, Piya Ka Ghar, Karam Apnaa Apnaa and a lot more. Aside from TV serials, she also acted in movies like Julie, Anamika, Corporate, Jo Hum Chahein and Heroine.
