Rajiv Kumar

Rajiv Kumar is an Indian television and movie actor who is best known for his character roles in the entertainment industry. He has been seen in mainstream Commercial movies such as ‘Lakshya’ (2004), in which he acted along with famous actors such as Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta. He has been associated with some other noted projects such as ‘Chota Jadugar’ (2003) & Thacholi Varghese Chekavar (1995).

He has been a regular actor in Hindi Television Industry, where he has accomplished some very popular Television characters. He was seen in serials like ‘Saas Bina Sasural’ in which he plays the father role of the female lead character, ‘Sasural Genda Phool’, where he was seen in a comparatively smaller role. He played the role of the childhood friend of the female lead.

He is being widely appreciated in his portrayal of a poor father of the main character of the series ‘Udaan’, broadcasted on Colors Channel. He has done some small time roles in famous reality series like ‘Crime Patrol’ & ‘Adalat’, which are a few widely acclaimed TV Series, inspired by real events. His other popular appearances were in serials like ‘Chotti Bahu’ & ‘Zaara Pyaar Ki Saugat’. He always wanted to be an actor since his childhood.

He is an alumnus of the National School of Drama. He is a great fan of Om Puri, 'Pankaj Kapur' and Balraj Sahni. He is a regular theatre artist and likes to do challenging projects. He has been associated with some documentary films such as ‘Injurious Health’ and also planning to make his presence felt in the Cinema world yet again. Rajiv lives and works in Mumbai.
