Raaj Shandilyaa To Remake Haryanvi Film ‘Fouja’

After an average run with ‘Vicky Vidya ka Woh Wala Video’, Raaj Shandilyaa is back to action.

According to the recent reports, Raaj has teamed up with Vimal Lahoti for the remake of a Haryanvi action drama ‘Fouja’. The story revolves about an old man, who regrets not joining the armed forces because of a physical disability, and how he inspires his wayward son to fulfill his dream.

While the film did not make any big money, it was a critical success, and later received not one but three National Awards, including one for Pavan Malhotra, who won the National Award for the Best Supporting Actor.

Raaj Shandilyaa has expressed his delight at this project, and aims to bring it forward to a larger audience. According to him, the film has every emotion that would resonate with the audience, and this would be his fourth venture as a producer.

Previously, he had produced ‘Janhit mein Jaari’, ‘Luv ki Arranged Marriage’, and ‘Vicky Vidya ka Woh Waala Video’ under the banner of Kathavachak Films. However, except for ‘Vicky Vidya ka Who Waala Video’, none of these ventures were commercially successful.
