Arvind Trivedi is an Indian actor. He was born in Gujarat, India. He has acted in more than 230 films including Hindi and Gujarati. He and , his brother, worked together in Gujarat cinema for over 40 years. He is a versatile actor. In 1991, he was the Member of Parliament from Sabarkatha district and continued it till 1996. He is a former acting chairman of the Indian Censor Board for Film Certification (CBFC). He acted with most of the directors of his time. Everyone appreciates his work. In one of his interviews he said, “You always learn acting from every role you play. You are not perfect in a role acted for the first time or the 100th time.

He acted in both TV series and movies. He used to play role in dramas like Ramayana in his childhood. He made his debut in 1971 in both Gujarati and Hindi cinema. His debut Hindi movie was “Praya Dhan” starring . He also worked in the movies Hari Darshan, Hum Tere Ashiq Hain, etc. His Gujarati debut film was “Jesal Toral”. After that he did “Jangal Mein Mangal” in 1972. In 1973, he played the role in “Aaj Ki Taaza Khabar”. He gave many hits in Gujarati cinema like Kunwarbai Nu Mamerun, Hothal Padmini, Jogidas Khuman, Santu Rangili, Maniyaro, Dholi, etc. He acted in Gujarati movie “Desh Re Joya Dada Pardesh Joya” as Grandfather. The movie broke many box office records and he is still remembered for that role.

He also acted in many TV serials. He is most famous for acting the role of Ravana in Ramanand Sagar’s television series “Ramayana”. Everyone appreciated his acting in the epic. He also appeared in motivational series of “Vikram Aur Betal”. He won many awards for his acting.
