Why Simbu Opts Out Of Pongal Race?

“Silambarasan,” the talented star has three films on his hands, at present. After the super hit Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, he will be seen in Vanthaa Rajavathaan Varuven directed by “Sundar C.” The film that has “Prabhu,” Ramya Krishnan, “Nassar,” VTV Ganesh and Catherine Tresa has the music composition of Hiphop Tamizha Adhi. VRV is the remake of Attarintiki Daredi directed by Trivikram Srinivas, featuring Pawan Kalyan, “Nadhiya” and Samantha Akkineni. The highly expected remake film was planned to hit the screens for Pongal along with Superstar “Rajinikanth” and Vijay Sethupathi movie “Petta” directed by Karthik Subbaraj and Ajith Kumar and “Nayanthara” film “Viswasam,” directed by “Siva.” Earlier last month, there had been talks regarding Simbu’s previous movie issues and it was said that VRV would not release for Pongal. But, the team was strong in releasing it for Pongal. As of now, the plan might get dropped, say the sources.
