might not be doing good recently, but he is far from disappointed.
According to the latest reports, talks are going between him and Tamil director Sundar C. The director cum actor has narrated a script to Teja recently, which he has liked a lot.
If everything goes well, a bilingual commercial entertainer will emerge soon, with Ravi Teja in the lead, and Sundar C as the director. Sundar C has had a brilliant year in 2024. He had ended the drought in Tamil cinema with the success of his movie ‘Aranmanai 4’. Despite the mixed reviews, the film went on to earn more than 100 crores over a budget of 30 crores.
On the other hand, Ravi Teja has had a forgettable year. He starred in ‘Mr. Bachchan : Naam to Suna Hoga’, which was based on the 2018 Hindi movie ‘RAID’, which was itself on the income tax raid on Sardar Inder Singh in 1981, which is counted as one of the longest income tax raids in the history of Indian cinema. Despite clashing with ‘Double iSmart’, the movie turned out to be a huge flop commercially. Made on a budget of 70 crores, the movie only managed to collect 7 crores domestically.
On the other hand, Sundar C is working on the sequel of ‘Mookuthi Amman’, which will once again see Nayanthara as Mookuthi Amman, a local deity who grants three wishes to each person.
