Pawan is the craziest actor and a youth icon in Tollywood. He is the younger brother of Legendary Telugu actor cum Politician, Konidala Chiranjeevi. Pawan Kalyan was born on 02 September, 1974. Konidela Kalyan Babu, also known as Pawan Kalyan, was born in Bapatla, Andhra Pradesh on 2nd September 1971. He is a well-known Indian film actor, director, writer, producer, screenwriter, and a politician. He has worked mostly for Telegu Cinema. His elder brother is also a well-known actor who turned into a politician. Kalyan is famous for his work in movies like Gokulamlo Seetha. His first movie was Akkada Ammavi Ikkada Abbayi in 1996 where he acted as Kalyan Kumar. In the year 1998, he acted in the movie Tholi Prema. This film won the National Film Award for the Best Feature Film in Telugu as well as six Nandi Awards.

He has also acted in movies like Thammudu, Kushi, Suswagatham, Jalsa, and Badri. He was awarded the Filmfare Award for Best Actor in Telugu for his film Gabbar Singh. His father was Konidela Venkat Rao and his mother was Anjana Devi. He had two elder brothers named Nagendra Babu and Chiranjeevi. Pawan has also achieved a black belt in Karate. He had three marriages. He married Nandini in the year 1997, Renu Desai in 2009 and Anna Lezhneva in 2013. He has a son and a daughter with Renu Desai named Akira and Aadhya respectively. His second movie Gokulamlo Seetha was produced by G.V.G. Raju and directed by Muthyala Subbaiah in 1996. He also acted in the movie Suswagatham in the year 1997 which was a remake of Love Today, a Tamil movie.

He acted in a film called Thammudu which was released on 15th of July in the year 1999 where he played the role of a kick boxer. It was a movie directed and written by P.A. Arun Prasad.
