Lakshmy did an ‘out of the box’ motherly character, in Karu Pazhaniappan’s Tamil Movie, “Pirivom Santhippom”. In this movie, we saw her play a beautiful mom to the beautiful heroine Sneha. She then added a vengeful shade to her motherhood in the Myskkin’s flick, ‘Yuddham Sei.'  She was critically acclaimed for these roles.

Being the winner that she is, Lakshmy went on to act in many movies, crossing the language barrier. I believe her forte lies in her portrayal of the characters given to her.
