Superstar Kamal Hassan has worked in many film industries of different languages. He is an Indian actor, writer, producer, director, dancer, playback singer, lyricist, makeup artist, and politician. His first ever role in cinema was at the age of 4. He won his first award for Best Child Actor when he was only 6 years old. He has worked in more than 230 films in various languages including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, and Bengali. He has been awarded Padma Shri in 1990 and Padma Bhushan in 2014.
