Johnny Walker is a comedian of Bollywood. His original name is Badruddin Jamaluddin Kazi. Born on November 1926 in Indore, he was a great comedian during his times. Since his father had no job Johnny Walker took up a job. One of his jobs before entering Bollywood is as a bus conductor.

, who eventually gave Johnny a small role in Baazi. Since Balraj saw Johnny playing the part of a drunkard in a film, he named Johny with a whisky name, but Johnny was not the personification of drunkard in real life. He was very much a simple and humble person.
Johnny Walker continued to be in Guru Dutt’s films, but later the ace comedian was not interested in comedies since, he felt that comedians are not given their due. Pyaasa, Meri Mehboob, Chori Chori and Pyaasa were some of the films that made this comedian a name to reckon with. He was at his peak during the 50s and 60s, but he was very much upset by the early death of Guru Dutt. and are some of the directors with whom he worked. Unfortunately, his career didn’t progress during the 80s.
Johnny Walker expressed his anguish about the later state of comedy saying that, he never received any cut for his films, but now all the comedies are full of vulgarity. Hence, he turned down comedy in the later stages. Taxi Driver,
and Madhumati were the films, in which he attained satisfaction. After a sabbatical, he returned to Bollywood with Chachi 420. While he was unavailable in the film industry, he had a profitable dealing in a business. Johnny Walker has two Filmfare awards to his credit.
