Kader Khan was born on 12 November, 1937 in Kabul, Afghanistan. His father named Abdil Rehman is from Afghanistan while his mother named Iqbal Begum is from India. Kader Khan is an actor and writer. Kader Khan obtained a Master's Diploma in Civil Engineering from the Institution of Engineers in India. After completing his education, he started working as professor of Civil engineering in M. H. Saboo Siddik College of Engineering in Byculla.
Khan wrote and acted a play on College’s Annual day function.
