Kader Khan was born on 12 November, 1937 in Kabul, Afghanistan. His father named Abdil Rehman is from Afghanistan while his mother named Iqbal Begum is from India. Kader Khan is an actor and writer. Kader Khan obtained a Master's Diploma in Civil Engineering from the Institution of Engineers in India. After completing his education, he started working as professor of Civil engineering in M. H. Saboo Siddik College of Engineering in Byculla.

Khan wrote and acted a play on College’s Annual day function. was very impressed after watching his acting and Kumar singed him for his two upcoming films: Sagina Mahato and Bairaag. Kader Khan acted in almost 300 films in Indian Film Industry. Also, he wrote the dialogues for over 250 Indian films from 1970s to 1990s. He made his debut as an actor in the film “Daag” (1973). He got one lakh twenty-one thousand rupees from Producer Manmohan Desai for writing the dialogues for the film Roti (1974). He has played different roles in films as father, uncle, comedian, villain.

He was awarded the Sahitya Shiromani Award, for his work in Indian cinema by Indian Government in 2013. Also, he got the Filmfare award for Best Comedian for Baap Numbri Beta Dus Numbari (1993).

Further, he won two Filmfare awards for Best Dialogue for his film Meri Awaaz Suno (1982) and Angaar (1993). Also, he won the Best Actor supporting role Male for his acting in (2004) and was nominated for Best Comedian actor for Filmfare award 9 times for 1984s to 1999s cinemas.
