Venkat Subha is a popular producer and actor who had been in the film and TV industry for over three decades. His real name is R Venkatakrishnan. He is married to Subha and has a son, Siddharth. Siddharth is an associate director in the Tamil film industry. Venkat, who shared a great bonding with his wife, Subha joined her name with his and used it as his screen name, like Rangarajan, the popular writer made his wife Sujatha’s name his pen name. He was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai. But, his health got deteriorated and he died on 29^th May 2021.

Venkat Subha is a Tamil actor, producer, and writer. His movies like Azhagiya Theeye(2004) and Kanda Naal Mudhal(2005) made him famous. Apart from Tamil movies, he has also worked as an actor with some soap operas such as Nachiyarpuram, Priyamanaval, and Thirumagal. He stopped acting in Mid-2020 due to personal reasons. Apart from working as an actor, he has also served as a YouTube reviewer for touring talkies channel, which talks about film receptions. In 2021, two of his films released, Friendship and Operation JuJuPi were posthumous releases. Venkat Subha died on 29th May 2021, after contracting the COVID-19 virus in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
