Sharon Angel Dhinakaran

Sharon Angel Dhinakaran is an entrepreneur, event host, and motivational speaker from Tamil Nadu, India. She is currently settled in California in the United States of America. Sharon studied for a Bachelor’s degree in Art in Media Studies from the University of Toronto and then went to Dallas Baptist University to study Broadcast communication in 2011. Sharon then pursued a Master’s degree of Fine Arts in Cinematography and Film making. Sharon started anchoring a YouTube series titled Random Thoughts in 2013. The series discusses some of the most concerning social evils of current times. 

She started working as a creative director for Empower Women Media in 2019 in Los Angeles. In 2021, she started hosting her own podcast – The Courage to Identify. Sharon also owns her own media house titled A North Production. With her video production company, Sharon aims at facilitating people globally to develop useful content. Sharon also recently authored a book – The Courage to Identify Who You Are.

During the first pandemic lockdown, she partnered with SEESHA, a non-government organization in India that assists underprivileged communities in areas of education, health, sanitation, and environment.

She hosted “Vaanga Sinthikalam,” in which she directed & scripted fifty-two Tamil episodes for a national network. The show addresses topics focused on child safety & education, sanitation, health, food, disaster management, women empowerment, business & other societal issues that are faced by those in the Tamil communities of India and outside.
