Narang was a famous and respected Telugu film producer. He died at the age of 76 in Hyderabad on 19 April; he was ill and being treated in Star Hospital, Hyderabad. Narayan is not only a producer but also a financer, distributor, and exhibitor. He was also an acting President of Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce. He backed films in various languages, including Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil by Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP production house. He was also a chairman of the Asian Group.
