S. Rajendran was an Indian politician and former Member of Parliament. He was born on 1 June 1956 in Adhanappattu, Villupuram, Tamil Nadu. He is married to Shantha, and the couple has three children; 2 daughters and a son. On 1 September 2014, he was elected to LokSabha from Viluppuram constituency as an All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) candidate.
He served as a member of the Standing Committee on Chemicals and Fertilizers and the Consultative Committee for the Ministry of Civil Aviation. Before elected to LokSabha, he was the chairman of District Panchayat from 2001 to 2006. He had been doing social service by helping the poor. He also participated in many awareness programs. He died in a car accident near Tindivanam, where his driver lost control and crashed the car in the road median on 23 February 2019.
