Sekhar Kammula or Kumar Sekhar Kammula is a director by profession in the Indian film industry. He works as a screenwriter and producer as well. He works predominantly in the Telugu film industry. He is married to Sri Vidya Kammula and has two children named Vandana Kammula and VibhavKammula. He completed his graduation in the field of Mechanical Engineering from the Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT) and M.S. degree in the line of Computer Science from the U.S. After that; he worked for about three years in the IT sector.

While his study period in the field of films, he worked in many short films and featured films of U.S. He made his debut as a director into the Telugu film industry with the film named Dollar Dreams that released into the Indian theatres in the year 2000.
