J. Jayavardhan or Jayakumar Jayavardhan is an Indian politician born in Royapuram, Chennai in Tamil Nadu in 1987. He pursued medical after school. He went to Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute in Porur and became a doctor. His father was also a politician – D. Jayakumar, who held the post as the Minister of Fisheries under the ADMK (Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam) ruled government and was the speaker to the Tamil Nadu assembly in the 2011-2012 session. He has been associated with the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (ADMK). When he was 26, he contested from South Chennai and won to become the youngest Member of Parliament of the country. He resides in Chennai, is married, and has one child.
