H V Hande is an indian politician from tamil nadu. He was born on 28 november 1927 in coimbatore, india. He was also an indian medical practitioner and a politician.
He was elected to the tamil nadu legislative assembly from park town constituency as a swatantra party candidate in 1967 and 1971 elections. He is recognized as ever genial mangalorian'because of his ancestral roots from mangalore.
He was also the national council member of the bharathiya janatha party in 2004. He has a fond of writing and had written books on ramayana, dr. Ambedkar, and other topics. He has also opened hande hospitals in 1984 at shenoy nagar, chennai. He was representing as minister of health during 1977–87.
