Born on July 30, in Munnar, Kerala, Sam C. S. is an Indian film singer, music composer, songwriter and producer. He prevalently works in Tamil cinema. He hails from Chennai. He comes from a Christian family. A music lover from his initial youth days, Sam was effectively engaged with music and took part in competitions.

He completed his schooling at LFGHS in Munnar and St.AloysiusHr.Sec.School in Dharapuram. He holds the degree in Master of Business Administration and Master of Computer Applications from St. Joseph's College in Tiruchirappalli in 2006.

After his graduation, he joined a software organization. His energy and skills to make music drove him to leave his place of employment and work for other music makers on programming and background score for movies. In 2012, he gave music to Sci-fi thriller period film Ambuli directed by Hareesh Narayan and Hari Shankar.

Sam also worked on the music of the movie named Kadalai by P. Sagayasuresh in 2016. In 2017, His ability long found by motion picture houses following which he got a chance to create music for a melodic Thriller film named 'Mellisai' later called as Puriyatha Puthir directed by Ranjit Jeyakodi in 2017 starring Gayathrie and Vijay Sethupathi.

The same year, Sam produced music for the Tamil psychological thriller movie named Puriyatha Puthir coordinated by Ranjit Jeyakodi featuring Gayathrie and Vijay Sethupathi. He also gave music to a Telugu film titled Mudra by TN Santhosh.

In 2018, he gave music to several motion pictures such as Diya / Kanamby A. L. Vijay, Mr.Chandramouli by Thiru, Iravukku Aayiram Kangal by Mu. Maran, AdangaMaru by Karthik Thangavel, Gorilla by Don Sandy, Vanjagar Ulagam by Manoj Beedha and many more.

Vivek Siva and Mervin Solomon, the duo commonly known as Vivek-Mervin, is considered as India’s youngest duo music directors. They are currently working as music composers, singers, arrangers, music producers, etc. They have composed songs for various Tamil films like Vadacurry, Pugazh, Dora and Gulebakavali. Vivek and Mervin, both of them hail from Chennai and started their singing in their childhood only. Mervin is said to have started playing piano since when he was 3 years old. He then started writing many gospel rock songs in the church. While Vivek is also a trained classical singer and was a part of many bands in his school and college days. He finished his higher education in law in School of Excellence, Chennai. Mervin started working as a music composer in many small Tamil projects and albums. Vivek and Mervin met when they worked together in the band Zinx, where both of them even worked with Anirudh Ravichander. Later on, they worked as music programmers and mix engineers in all of his projects. Their debut project as music composers was the Tamil film, Vadacurry, in the year 2014, in which all the songs they composed recieved a positive response from critics. The song Nenjukulla Nee sung by Vijay Prakash, became an instant hit that toppede the charts for several weeks. Their second film was Pugazh , whose songs was a hit among the audience, irrespective of the movie not making up to the mark. This album had great singers like Arjit Singh, Hariharan and Chitra singing the tunes. Their next venture as composers was Nayathara’s Dora, which had tracks sung by Anirudh and Mervin. It was released through Sony Music. Then they worked together in Gulebakavali as their fourth venture, soundtrack released by Think Music India. Shankar Ganesh is a music director, composer, and singer. He mainly works with the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada film industries. He was born in Chennai, India. He has the Indian nationality. He did the instrument with a keyboard. Shankar's son name is Balasubramaniam. Shankar and Ganesh are two brothers. Ganesh had died in an accident. After that, he has known as Shankar Ganesh. They both had started his careers as assistants to Tamil music composers M.S Vishwanathan and T.K. Ramamurthy in the year 1964. After some time the duo had assisted M.S. Viswanathan alone from the year 1965 to the year 1967. Kannadhasan had started his film Titled Nagarathil Thirudargal. In which he give break to Shankar Ganesh as music director. However, unfortunately, the film had stopped. Therefore, Kannadhasan took brought him to the Chinnappa Devar and requested him to give them a break in movies. After death of Kannadhasan, Shankar Ganesh had his titles converted into the "Kavinger vazhangiya thevarin." ‘Shankar Ganesh Kaveri Thanda Kalaiselvi’ was a Natya Nadagam as Dance Drama wherein Jayalalitha has played the main lead and rehearsals used to happen at her house with all artists. Shankaraman, musician duo Shankar and Ganesh used to play music at the time of rehearsals. Sandhya used to make food and give all artistes breakfast and lunch. Their first independent release was Magaraasi on April 14 and in the year 1967. Aattukara Alakula was a turning point in their career. Aattukara Alamelu is the Musician duo Shankar Ganesh composed music for 2-films of Jayalalitha - Maharasi in the year 1967. It has produced by Devar Films and Vandhale Maharasi in the year 1973. This was another movie that had Jayalalitha as its lead actress. However, their best work to date is still considered to be in the movies Idhaya Veenai and Naan Yen Pirenden. In 1986 Ganesh received an anonymous package containing a tape recorder which when played resulted in it to explode in his face causing him to lose his vision in the right eye. Also, Shankar died at an early age and Ganesh continued to take the duo ahead by working alone after the demise of his partner. His vision was restored in 2014 after a surgery. Shankar Ganesh has been widely acclaimed and appreciated for their work. They also received the prestigious ‘Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Music Director’ in the year 1979. Illamai, Bandham, Veli, Uthami, Kaalam etc are some of their popular works in Tamil while Samyukhta, Chakravyuha, Pralayankatha etc are some of the famous Kannada songs they’ve worked upon. Shankar Ganesh became a popular name in the South Indian households very soon. People heartily enjoyed their work and continue to do so even now.
