Having a filmy background, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj is an actor and belongs to Tamil film industry. Leading his father’s footstep, Shanthanu, started his career in films from 2008. He also was an assistant director in his sister’s film. Even though he is an actor and has a movie background, he completed his studies too and is nowadays experimenting with himself in movies as an actor. Personal Life: Shanthanu Bhagyaraj belongs to the famous actor and director, K. Bhagyaraj. Being a son of an actor and director he tried his hands at acting too and got mixed reviews. Born on 24th August 1986 in South India, he completed his schooling from Sishya School, Chennai. Later he graduated from Loyola College in Chennai in 2007 with a degree in Economics. His family includes K. Bhagyaraj(father), Poornima Bhagyaraj(mother) and Saranya Bhagyaraj(sister). His sister is also a notable actress. Shanthanu married TV anchor Keerthi on 21 August 2015. Shankar Panikkar (Panicker), popularly known as Shankar has worked as Indian film actor and is still. He is also a director. He was one of the most versatile lead actors of Malayalam cinema during the 1980s. He was marked as the True romantic hero of Mollywood by Galatta Cinema magazine. Career: Started his career with the famous blockbuster film, Oru Thalai Ragam, in 1980, as a lead actor, he was one of the most anticipated actors of his time. After the superhit film Oru Thalai Ragam, which ran on the screens for 365 days, he acted in Manjil Virinja Pookkal, a romantic film. After this, he became one of the famous actors of Tamil film industry. He was also a part of Malayalam film industry. He became a romantic hero. The movie, though was supposed to mark a warm welcome for then newbie, went cold on the box office. Post a not-so-happening movie debut, Sibiraj did 4 of his next movies under his father Sathyaraj’s severe guidance. Sathyaraj was backing his son all the way in his next four movies- Jore,Mannin Maindhan, Vetrivel Sakthivel and Kovai Brothers. Somewhere, these movies gave Sibiraj the necessary momentum and confidence he was looking for. After Kovai Brothers, Sibiraj showed up in Nenjil Jil Jil for a guest appearance. This was followed by a movie titled Lee, where Sibiraj played a football player. Following his increasing imprint on the Silver Screen, Sibiraj did movies Naanayam. This would’ve been a regular ride of a ‘starkid’, but Sibiraj had more up under his sleeves. Just when people where waiting for his next project, Sibiraj declared that he’ll be taking a break from the movies to attend the New York Film Academy. And after four years, with his film Naigaal Jaaikirathai, he did show his growth as an actor.
