Mahadevan

Actor Mahadevan is from Chennai; born on 6th May 1961.He has appeared in several Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. He played an antagonist role in the movie Pithamagan directed by Bala, who is a versatile director whose famous for village reality scripts. After this character's success, Mahadevan was popularly called as Pithamagan Mahadevan. He started his film career in the Telugu biographical sports drama film Ashwini which was directed by B.C Mouli in the year 1991. This film is established based on the real story of Ashwini Nachappa, who was a national champion. He also got another chance to act in another Telugu movie Anaganaga Oka Roju (1994). This film was written and directed by Ram Gopal Varma. The actor continued his career in Tollywood with three films Dalam (2013), Soggade Chinni Nayana (2016) and Krishna Gaadi Veera PremaGaadha (2016).

Actor Mahadevan stepped into Tamil cinema in the film Pithamagan (2003), a crime based drama film written and directed by the famous director Bala. The star casts in the movie are Vikram, Surya, Laila, and Sangeetha. Mahadevan, who played the role of a drug lord in this film, was praised heavily by critics and people. In the climax of the movie, Mahadevan will be murdered by actor Vikram. After the superhit success of this movie, Mahadevan was popularly called as Pithamagan Mahadevan. In 2004, actor Mahadevan played an excellent supporting role with actor Sarath Kumar in the Tamil movie Chatrapathy. He acted in the character name of Neelakandan in the film Azaghesan (2004) directed by Arthi Kumar. After that Mahadevan got a chance to play a role in Thala Ajith's Flim Attagasam in 2004. Attagasam is an action film directed by Saran.

Mahadevan acted a villain character named as Samudhrakani Annachi, which also reached heights for his role played in the film among the audience. Mahadevan became very famous after this movie that people started to recognize him for his successive antagonist roles in the blockbuster films which had led to receiving calls from many directors after these films. Actor Mahadevan played the role of Meera jasmine's landlord father in the movie Mercury Pookal (2006), which was directed by S.S Stanely. The next big opportunity for the actor Mahadevan was with Superstar Rajinikanth, where he acted as an Astrologer in the movie Sivaji (2011) directed by the great director Shankar. In this movie, Mahadevan advises Actress Shreya Saran about the risks of marrying Sivaji (Rajinikanth). Actor Mahadevan did a sentimental role in the movie Pannaiyarum Padminiyum (2014). The whole movie was based on Shanmugam's (Mahadevan) car, which played a vital role in the movie.
