Ravichandran

Ravichandran was a veteran Tamil film, theater, and television actor known for playing protagonists in the 60s and 70s era of Tamil cinema. The period of 1964 to 1979 is when Ravichandran established himself as a Tamil superstar. Ravichandran has also featured in brief roles in various movies and has directed a few films as well. Originally born as B.S.Raman in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Ravichandran relocated to Tiruchirappalli in India. Ravichandran pursued his education at the St. Joseph’s College. Ravichandran started his film career in 1964 with C. V. Sridhar’s “Kaadhalikka Neramillai.” The movie also featured R. Muthuraman, Kanchana, and Rajashri. The decade of the 60s also saw Ravichandran in K. Shankar’s “Gowri Kalyanam,” T. R.
