Thennavan is an Indian actor who predominantly acts in Tamil movies. He was the second lead actor in Bharathiraja's ‘En Uyir Thozhan’ (1990) for which he was praised a lot by critics and viewers. Later on, he gave his impressive performances even in Kamal Haasan's movie 'Virumaandi '(2004) and Saran's flick 'Gemini' (2002). It is said after watching in 'Gemini'; Kamal Haasan picked him for his venture' Virumaandi'. After his impressive performance in 'Gemini'; Saran too repeated him for his venture 'Jay Jay' (2003).
