Gowtham Sundararajan is a film actor-cum-choreographer. He has worked in a lot of Tamil films and TV dramas. He was born to Tamil character artist, and Shyamala. After graduating from Vivekananda College in 1989, he made his debut in “K. Balachander’s” directorial venture, “Azhagan”, featuring “

. In this film, he appeared as a theater artist with Bhanupriya for a song, “Kozhi Koovum Neram Aachu”. He is passionate with Western dance.
In 1996, Gowtham married Kokila Hariram. A couple of years after their marriage, he started a dance school named Academy Of Modern Dance, in association with his wife, who is also passionate in dance. It is the first formal dance school in Chennai. Besides running the dance school, Gowtham and Kokila started choreographing films. They got a big opportunity through
in “Aalavandhan”, in 2001.
Meanwhile, Gowtham accepted doing good roles in cinema. His performance in “Vaaname Ellai”, with Babloo Prithviraj,
and “Madhoo”, earned him a good name. In that film, he portrayed a weighty role to shatter the suicide idea of his friends. He has played all kinds of roles including comedy and villainy. Gowtham has performed in almost all the films of
and Sundar C. He turned into a producer along with Sundar C. in “Ainthaam Padai”, in the year 2009. Gowtham also directed “Kannula Kasu Kadappa”, with
as the heroine. Gowtham has done a simple yet good job in “

” as Jyothika’s brother-in-law was also lauded. Gowtham worked again with “Jyothika” and “R. Madhavan” in
