Luthfudeen Basha

Luthfudeen Basha is an actor who has worked in South Indian films. Luthfudeen is the middle son of famous actor and director, M. Nassar, and Kameela, his mother. Luthfudeen has two siblings- Abdul Asan Faizal, his elder brother and Abi Mehdhi Hassan, his younger brother. His elder brother was to make his debut with T.Siva’s movie but he couldn’t because of some unfavorable circumstances. Abdul also met with a serious accident in the year 2014. Abi Mehdhi Hassan is also an actor and has acted in the 2012 film, Sun Sun Thatha. Luthfudeen never thought of becoming an actor and was pursuing a course in sound design and music composition in Malaysia. This role just happened by chance. According to his father Nassar, he never forced his children to become an actor and has given them the freedom to choose their profession. Luthfudeen got finalized to play Senthil in A.L. Vijay’s movie, Saivam (2014). Luthfudeen worked with his father, Nassar in this Tamil film. Initially, he was a bit nervous about working in movies and that too alongside his father who is an experienced actor. Luthfudeen had to attend a few acting classes and workshops to understand how one is supposed to act. He learned everything quickly before starting the shooting of Saivam. A.L. Vijay got very impressed because of Basha’s dedication towards work and acting skills. Luthfudeen was everyone’s favorite on the sets of Saivam and everybody gave him the nickname, Guddu. Nassar portrayed the character of Luthfudeen’s grandfather in this flick. This film narrates the story of a little girl who saves a rooster from her family members, Paappa. She didn’t want her family to kill that rooster for some ritualistic ceremony. This movie garnered a good response from the viewers. Luthfudeen’s name was too difficult, and director A.L. Vijay thought people would find it hard to remember such a tough name. Hence, Nassar gave him the name Luthfudeen Basha because Luthfudeen’s grandfather’s name was Mehboob Basha. Luthfudeen’s next movie was Idhu Enna Maayam (2015). He played a minor role in this film and essayed the character of Venky. Unfortunately, this film didn’t do good numbers at the box-office. Luthfudeen has acted in another Tamil film, Parandhu Sella Vaa, as the main character. He has portrayed the role of a young boy who loved and adored everything around him. Luthfudden got a chance to work with a famous actress, Aishwarya Rajesh, who is playing the main role in this film. This movie will hit the theaters this year.
