He completed his graduation in Corporate Secretary in D. G. Vaishnava College in Chennai in the year 2006. Before entering the cinema, he was a dance tutor in a dance school named Swingers. He feels proud that he got a good character in his debut movie Vattaram. This movie was directed by Charan and had Arya in the lead. At present, two of his Telugu movies are ready for the release. Currently, he has committed in a Tamil movie called Ennodu Vilayaadu. This is a guest role, says Anoop Kumar and the film has Bharath as the lead. He loves to go for long drives in vehicles. He is very much interested in playing Shuttle and dancing. He wants to explore the world. He is very close with actors Nithin Satya and Bharath. He encourages all the youngsters, who come for acting. He also tells them not to keep their aim only on cinema, but to have some other job for their safety, till they get a right position in cinema.

Anoop Kumar has reached his position with hard work and he wants to continue his profession, as cinema forever.
