Comedy is the forte of Manobala (Manobala Mahadevan), who is also a director. He was born on 4th June 1953 and acts in supporting roles too. His primary region of interest is Tamil. S Krishnamoorthy is the original name of Madhan Bob, who is a famous comedian of Tamil film industry. His recurrent laugh in films is sure to irritate you or rather tickle your funny bones, but that is one of his strengths. Madhan Bob ventured into the film industry by donning the role of a musician. Madhan Bob is active in the industry since 1992. Madhan Bob is also associated with Sun TV as one of the judges of the show Asathapovathu Yaaru.     Vaaname Ellai is the film in which Madhan Bob debuted in Tamil film industry. It is believed that A R Rahman and Maragathamani learnt music from Madhan Bob. Madhan Bob was born the eighth member in his family. He founded a music group named Madhan and Babu, along with his brother Babu. Madhan Bob is still a musician and manages a music troupe. He wants people to refer him as a humorist, than a comedian. In the course of time Babu was changed to Bob and this is how K Balachander introduced him in Vaaname Ellai.    While Madhan Bob was working on the shooting of Mappillai he met with an accident and got injuries. Madhan Bob was, however brave enough to break open the door of the car which was rolled over, and hence saved his assistant and car driver. He was hospitalized and eventually he resumed his shooting. Premgi Amaren

A native of Chennai, Premgi Amaren is a multi-talented artist. He was born on February 25, 1979. In about a decade-long career, he has been sailing the boat as a playback singer, a film composer, a songwriter as well as an actor, commendably. Hailing from a culture enriched family background, Premgi is the son of renowned music composer and singer Gangai Amaran and younger brother of film director and actor Venkat Prabhu. He is famous as a comedian in Tamil films. Maestro Ilaiyaraja is his uncle. Premgi initially wanted to be a music composer and to follow his dreams; he commenced his career as an assistant to Yuvan Shankar Raja, his cousin, who is a renowned film music composer. The journey he started never ceased, as soon after, he became a playback singer. He is significantly celebrated for his rap songs in Tamil cinema. He has also worked along with Yuvan Shankar Raja in remixing some of his compositions. His first remix was “Loosu Penne” from the movie Vallavan. In 2006, Prem ventured into acting in Silambarasan’s Vallavan as a supporting actor. He kickstarted his directing career through Chennai 600028, released in 2007, which is the directorial venture of his sibling Venkat Prabhu. Portraying the comical character of Seenu, Premgi soon became a household name as this film became a sensational blockbuster that year, establishing him as a comedian. There was no end to his success spring. In 2010, he played the lead role, in Venkat Prabhu’s Goa. Soon afterward he was awarded as ‘Best Supporting Actor’ in International Tamil Film Awards for his role in Mankatha, a blockbuster of the year 2011.
