He has also worked as a cinematographer in the movie named “Chennai 600028 II Innings.” Rajesh was chosen to handle the camera in the movie named “Unnai Charanadaindhen” starring Venkat Prabhu in the lead role. But later on, Rajesh got replaced by Sakthi Saravanan. The movie named “Chennai 600028 II Innings” was the sequel to its first part and all the actors of the first part were retained in the film with some more additions. An actor named “Vaibhav” who has done his debut in the movie named “Saroja” with Venkat Prabhu was also the part of this sequel. The plot of the film was that most of the characters were settled in their married lives and it dealt with the life of its lead actors in the early thirties. The film was produced under the banner of “Black Ticket Company” and hit the theaters on 8th of December in the year 2016 and was a success.

Rajesh Yadav has won many Awards and got nominated as well. He was honored with Special Jury Award in the category of Best Cinematography from the movie named “Pokkisham” at in 7th Chennai International Film Festival. He has also achieved Kalaignar TV Award in the category of Best Cinematography and was nominated for Vijay Award in the category of Best Cinematography as well.

His first entry as a cinematographer is a Tamil movie named “Asurakulam” released in 2015 which is an action movie and it had leading Tamil actors like Thambi Ramaiah, John Vijay, with direction by Vignesh Menon. The Film got distributed by Eros International. In this Movie, he had a chance to work with Anand Jeeva who is also a cinematographer by profession. Kugan is a very hardworking and keen observer, which can be seen in his films through the output quality. In asurakulam, the cinematography is handled very neatly. The film is an action thriller, which has good visuals in it. Though it was the first movie of Kugan, no one can say that it was a work of an amateur cinematographer. The film portrays rain scenes, daylight scenes and scenes during night time in various locations. Kugan has played with his talents to achieve the right kind of quality to deliver to the audience. His second Movie is “Aviyal” in Tamil language which released in 2016, was a collection of 5 short films made by various directors like Alphonse Puthren, Mohit Mehra, Lokesh Kanakaraj, Sameer Sultan and the list goes on and on. The Film also had many actors like Sharath Kumar, Bobby Simha, Nivin Pauly, etc., The cinematography of the film is excellent, and the visuals make the audience to explode out of their bodies. The efforts put on to get the best quality on the screen by Kugan has not gone in vain. His Third movie is “Mudhugauv” which is a Malayalam comedy film released in 2016. The Film cast actors like Gokul Suresh, Vijay Babu, Soubin Shahir, and so on. Kugan had a chance to work with an Ex- Advertising Director Vipin Das in this movie.The film got released under the production company Friday film House. The film’s cinematography is excellent as the visuals are very colorful and the lighting applied for that of each and every frame as per requirement of the scene. In this film, the audience can see the output of Kugan’s professionalism. Hardworking professional by nature, Kugan is very choosy in his movies, and hence he takes time in between each project. Self Learning attitude has always been his character, which is observed from his career growth. Success makes its way to a man who has done the necessary preparation.
